Iām 24 years old and the founder of Love From Janet, a Sunshine Coastābased label founded in 2020.
This brand was built on courage, confidence, persistence, kindness & sisterhood.
I wanted to create something for the girls who donāt fit into just one box, the girl of many aesthetics.
For the fashion girlies who love the beach,
the surfer girls who still want to look fancy (yes, wear Prada),
the tradie ladies who also love slipping into heels,the materialistic yet holistic girlies,Ā
& the aesthetic queens who live for colour.
Where two worlds collide because I felt like there wasnāt really a space for this girlā¦ so I created it.
Love From Janet is about confidence, colour, & wearing whatever makes you feel good, whether thatās barefoot or dressed up & feeling extra.

THE JOURNEY:
Love From Janet is a premium swimwear brand founded by Ebony Torrisi, built on a love for fashion since age 7, Quality, and community. Ebonyās journey began young, as early as 7 years old, she was making and selling her own handmade pieces, crocheting in grade 6 for her fashion parade. Sparking a lifelong passion for creating and sharing fashion. Since starting her fashion journey as a teen, Ebony has grown the brand with a focus on empowering women to feel confident, feel hot, have fun, and wear high-quality, long-lasting swimwear.Ā
"Our swimwear started as Australian handmade pieces, crafted on the Gold Coast in our studio by Aunty Donna, who brings over 30 years of experience to every bikini. Each piece is made with care, skill, and attention to detail.
As the brand has grown, Love From Janet has expanded part of its manufacturing offshore, allowing us to scale sustainably while maintaining our high standards. At the same time, we continue to release special collections of Australian-made swimwear, keeping local craftsmanship and quality at the heart of the brand. 2026. we have gone into a new product market platform shoes, this comes back to out brand aesthetics as i am always very inspired by the old days.
We also love to support smaller businesses, charityies and local artists, collaborating with them to design unique collections that celebrate creativity & community.
Our values are rooted in kindness, passion and courage in everything we do, from creating premium swimwear to building a welcoming, empowering community.
Quality comes before quantity, every design is made to last & in small quantities, keeping you confident, unique & funky.
